Helping Families Breathe, Sleep, and Function.

I'm Iqrah Yahya, a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist.

For years, I found myself asking the same questions: Why did some patients with excellent oral hygiene continue getting cavities? Why did so many children and adults struggle to breathe through their nose or keep their lips comfortably closed? Why were patients with severe grinding habits so often dealing with poor sleep?

In 2018, I began studying the connection between oral health, breathing, sleep, and oral function, and it completely changed the way I viewed dentistry. Since then, I've continued to expand my education, learning how breathing patterns, tongue posture, chewing, swallowing, and sleep all work together to support overall health.

That passion led me to create MYO₂ Myofunctional Therapy, where I provide personalized, evidence-informed care for children and adults. Every patient begins with a comprehensive evaluation, including a home sleep study, so treatment is tailored to their unique needs—not a one-size-fits-all approach.

My goal is simple: to help you build healthier habits that support better breathing, better sleep, and better function for life.
